Kannawidan

Unless you look back to where you have been, you will never get to where your going.The Kannawidan festival was held at the dates January 29 to February 3 2014 in vigan. Certain activities were held at certain schedules. Activities were held at Vigan stadium for as where hundreds of people came to watch.

The different cities and towns of Ilocos sur competed for the throne. Many actors and actresses came to vigan and hosted different shows. During the festival, there was a competition of which town has the best agricultural products. The festival was composed of different historical events, races, pageants, and food festival. Many people also spent most of their time having fun in the carnival. Some also went to watch the Vigan dancing fountain.

 Events like these must be preserved and past  on the next generation for people to understand and help others remember how life before technology even ruled over the humans way of understanding. with the festival passed on and continued by the next or future generations, hopefully this will help them protect the Itas from going through modernization.

The kannawidan festival consist of historical events as to help people understand the how life was before machines and technologies ruled over the humans way living. Special occasions like these must be helped preserved and past on to the future generations as to help prevent the itas from going through modernization and using technology.

New Year, New Me.

"Life is not easy, we met some struggles and problems throughout our way."

It's the new start of the year. Many things happened and will be happen as we welcome 2014. Their will be new opportunities and chances for us to change and to be more stronger as days come and past. 2013 is a very memorable year for me, i met those new best friends, new boy friends and new teachers that will help me to enjoy my life. They say that every new year we should have a new years resolution, but for me I don't have any new years resolution because i don't believe I would do it. I'll just change for the better, make things impossible, to be a good student, friend and to be more responsible to help my mother. I will try my best to accomplish all my dreams and promises to myself.
To strive hard is my goal for this year. I will do my best to soar pass the things I've done for the last year. I will make  my parents proud as I graduate High School. I will live those bad memories and start a new good year.  Happy New Year :)

My Reflection

My Reflection

And the Third periodical Test is coming nearer. I am not yet ready to take our test. There are a lot of projects and notes that I need to rush for the deadline. I am not yet ready because during the Christmas vacation, I and my fellow classmates never read their lessons. 

For the past days during the Third grading, I have encountered a lot of problems and arguments with my classmates. I also get mad with my other teachers because sometimes they are unfair in treating us.

It feels like yesterday.. Just the first day of being a fourth year high school student. But third periodical test have passed.. Days have gone so fast. I remember every day I should do all my homework’s, sleeping late at night to review my lessons, waking up early in the morning, cramming up my projects and review for unit test and periodical test. I also remember I skip lunch and break time just to finish those requirements, forgot to do at home. Pushing to read the lessons because my eyes get tired and bored reading does it get to sleep. Those memories are so nice.. Student life.. So Enchanting :)

We all believe to have God, that we were creations of him, we might have different religions, but the faith is the same and strong as to anyone could have. Roman Catholic is the most populated religion in the world, and as a born Christian, we believe God and his begotten son, Jesus Christ. Every year we celebrate his birthday, on the 25^th day of December.

What about Christmas? Christmas is not just about rejoicing the birth of Jesus, this day is about you and your family. Rejoicing the love to one another, the joy that this bring to the whole family. And giving what you have received the whole year, sharing it to the unprivileged might brought happiness to them. Traditions, is up everywhere during this day, food, gifts and children caroling. But it really tickles more the heart during this season when we could all love and give. Is it only for this day? No! Every day is a God given day for us to celebrate.

Christmas is the season of love and giving. ..Families gather around, forgiving those who have hurt you, sharing and giving gifts.

The physical changes to our living world nowadays is very alarming, yet the environmental problems or natural disasters and calamities occurring is no longer surprising, since it is being forecasted or perceived due to the appearance of this changes.

Uncontentment sometimes urges human to explore aside from curiosity. And sometimes a knowledge or discovery gained leads to the destruction of the environment because at times they use the natural resources to their study or experiment. Like to the moderning countries Ce.g. China and Japan) some of their industries emit gases which is very hazardous to the environment. Some of them produces gas like the carbon monoxide which has a great contribution to the climate change we are experiencing nowadays, in which it has an additional effect to the thinning of the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from the prickling heat of the sun. But upon the increasing amount of these gases , the sun’s rays are being trapped on the surface or atmosphere of the earth , thus, the temperature of the world is also increasing, with this, the  aging ice on the Atlantic or arctic  continents were melting, these makes the world go unbalanced, climate occurs.

Look around and observe. Every day, each individual might be contributing to these phenomena. Do you have a car or a refrigerator? Do you burn your wastes or garbage’s? Do you spray your hair? Yes, this might be just emitting small amounts of harmful gases but take note, when combined, it produces many. So it helps when we all humans help ourselves to conquer this situation we are facing now. We can help from the worsening of the global warming through limiting or minimizing using these things and use those pro-eco. We could also help from planting trees to help absorb these gases. And so many other things we could do to help conserve the world we were living into.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

We are all the same creation, we were all humans and we were born a like. The only difference might be the way you were raised, the environment you’re living with ad the people that surrounds you that might be an influence of the perceived differences.

        Discrimination is not new nowadays. In any part you’re going to you always find one the sad part to it, the discriminated individuals sometimes are being bullied. Physical appearance or defects, financial and social status, and power are just one of those reasons of discrimination. In our history, being female means being weak, ales are more dominant in all life opportunities like education, work, public offices and others, that made women enclosed. Like with jail bars. Today, gender equality is on progress, there are already female leaders, and women working. It is good to know that certain laws are already on progress protecting those individuals being discriminated or bullied.

        We are of given same rights, you’re rights are my rights… and the opportunities should be equal, choosing not whom you know, what you have and how do you look like, it must be what you know and what you can do!
